The organization insists that the spirit of the contest, organized by a non-profit entity, is to promote audiovisual creation among young people and enthusiasts, to tell stories and to offer all girls and boys a space in which to show and share their audiovisual and creative capabilities for free.
The jury will reward the creativity, originality and composition of the short films, as well as the developed script and technical resources. If the jury considers that there is no candidate worthy of any of the prizes these may be declared null and void.
Award ceremony and final Gala
The works submitted will be visualized in the weeks following the end of the deadline for receiving the videos by the selection committee (which will be made public on the festival website once its composition is known).
The selection committee will propose 3 finalists for each category (if in any category there is no minimum quality this could be made void or with fewer finalists) and invite the finalist short films to take part in the festival.
The juries (Principal, children and youth), will be announced through the website of the festival, and will choose the winners among the finalists. A prize may be declared void if considered the minimum quality required by the jury is not met. In the same way, a prize can be awarded to more than one finalist if the jury is not able to determine which work is the best.
The finalists’ decision will be made public during the month prior to the festival, and the awards ceremony will be held on April 30 (Saturday), 2022, at the Cultural Center of Cilleros, during which the final winners of each category will be announced.
We will reveal the name of the presenters of this new edition as the date approaches.
